In this post I wanted to share with you my current nail care routine! For as long as I can remember I have always loved spending time on doing my nails to the point where a few years ago I hated not having anything on them (that's probably really bad i know..)

The first thing I will always do is use a nail file and nail cutters or scissors to make sure my nails are all even length this not only makes them look better but also helps with growth aswell.

The next thing I do is use a buffing block to increase the shine of my nails and to remove any ridges this helps to make any nail polish look better once its been applied.

The next step is one of the most important steps and one that should be included in any nail care routine to use a cuticle cream or oil to massage your cuticles, this step stimulates blood circulation therefore helping with nail growth. I'm currently using the Boots Nail and Cuticle Oil which comes in a small bottle with a rollerball which makes application very easy.

Once I have fully massaged my cuticles I will apply either a regular base coat or a nail growth treatment such as the Sally Hansen Miracle Nail Growth treatment. I've found that not only does this help with the growth of my nails but it also helps to make them stronger and less prone to breaking.

Finally  after everything has been done in order to help make my nails the best they can be I get to paint them, this is by far the part I enjoy most!

The nail polish I'm currently wearing is the Maybelline Superstay nail polish in the colour 'Porcelain'.

In order to keep my hands and nails moisturized throughout the day I carry around a hand cream in my bag everyday (as you can see here)

Hope you enjoyed this post!
